• Professional & Profile Data: Your resume/CV, work history, skills, languages spoken, areas of expertise, educational background, and any other information you add to your profile.

• Assessment Data: Your responses, submissions, and scores from any skill assessments you undertake on our platform.

For Clients/Companies:

• Identity & Contact Data: Your name, official email address, phone number, and designation.

• Company Data: Your company's name, address, website, and details about your project requirements.

• Financial Data: Billing information required to process payments for our Services.

• To Provide and Manage Our Services: To create and manage your account, match Experts with Client projects, and facilitate communication between parties.

• To Process Payments: To facilitate payments from Clients and make payments to Experts for completed work.

• For Vetting and Assessment: To verify the identity and assess the skills and qualifications of Experts for Client projects.

• To Communicate With You: To send you service-related notifications, project updates, and respond to your inquiries.

• For Security and Compliance: To protect our platform from fraud, to comply with our legal obligations under Indian and international laws, and to enforce our Terms of Service.

• To Improve Our Platform: To analyze usage data to understand user needs and improve the functionality and user experience of our product-led operation.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We only share it in the following limited circumstances:

• With Clients: We share Expert profiles and assessment data with Clients to allow them to evaluate candidates for their projects. This is a core function of our Service.

• With Service Providers: We may share information with third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processors, cloud hosting providers (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud), and analytics services. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.

• For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we have a good faith belief that disclosure is reasonably necessary to (a) investigate and prevent illegal activities; (b) protect the safety and rights of io-ai, our users, or the public; or (c) enforce our legal agreements.
