At io-ai, we are building advanced AI systems that understand the world with cultural and linguistic nuance. We are looking for talented linguists specializing in Indian languages to provide the critical expertise needed to teach our models.
What You'll Do:
Annotate, label, and transcribe text and speech data with exceptional accuracy.
Evaluate AI-generated language for fluency, relevance, and cultural appropriateness.
Localize content and develop linguistic rules to improve model performance.
Collaborate with our project teams to develop and refine data annotation guidelines.
Who We're Looking For:
Native or professional fluency in at least one major Indian language (e.g., Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati, Kannada).
A degree in Linguistics, Languages, or a related field is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of grammar, syntax, phonetics, and cultural nuances.
Prior experience in translation, transcription, or data annotation is a significant plus.
